Want to gain skills that will help you start a career in carpentry or residential construction? Trade Winds to Success is partnering with Fishing Lake Métis Settlement and Elizabeth Métis Settlement to offer our outreach Residential Construction Program for members of both Settlements. Training will take place in Fishing Lake from May 26, 2025 to September 5, 2025.
This program is tuition-free, and students will be provided with any supplies and PPE that is required for training. Métis residents will have the chance to gain hands-on carpentry skills while building a high-efficiency small home for the community. To read more about our Outreach Program, click here.
